Founded with purpose

Built around the whole child.

The idea for an English-medium independent school in Thabazimbi began with Mrs Jenny de Klerk, who saw a need for an education that could combine high standards with personal care. Advanced College opened enrolments in October 2016 and welcomed its first 105 learners in January 2017.

As the school grew, it moved to its current premises in 2020 and developed into separate Primary and Secondary schools. Early Childhood Development followed in 2022 and the Kumon Mathematics and English Centre in 2023.

Today the school continues to grow around the same conviction that shaped its beginning: education should give young people the knowledge, confidence, character and faith to follow their dreams.
